Our Green Policy

The Building Trade has a large affect on the environment in which we all live in.

Also produces a lot of waste materials.

At JW Builders we use a range of natural products and resources in the products and services we provide.

We are also involved in large building projects so the way in which we manage these parts of our business has a real effect on our environment.

Our Aims

It is our aim to make sure that we and all of our employees are aware that the actions we take can affect the environment.

As a company we wish to minimise our impact as much as possible.

What we are currently doing to help the environment;

• We only use timber products from sustainable managed forests
• All waste produced by JW is disposed of in the correct way according to regulations
• Where ever possible we re-cycle and re-use materials
• We try to minimise unnecessary travel, using one vehicle where possible instead of 2 or 3
• We do our best to E-mail all quotations and estimates and Invoices
• We try to locally source materials wherever possible this helps to reduce unnecessary transport

Future Goals

JW Builders are constantly looking for new ways to help the environment and are committed to reducing the effects we have on it.

I believe that as a company we have a responsibility to keep pushing for greener ways to conduct our business and will endeavour to do so.
